For our personal consultancy process, we guarantee that all costs will be accurate to date. West Builders is committed to providing the most enjoyable process possible for the client and to be the reliable and trustworthy source you need to get your project designed and ready to build.

For our construction services, every bit of product and material that is used will have a manufacturers guarantee and the build will be certified by an engineer.

Our services are mainly provided in West Clare, however we will travel anywhere in Ireland depending on the scale of the project.

No. It is incredibly difficult to provide an accurate estimate just by looking at a job.

For large projects, having a builder present throughout the design process is the best way to assure you don’t get any surprises in cost later on.

For small projects, West Builders will provide a quote after taking all aspects into consideration.

The client is responsible for getting all permits, however West Builders as your personal pre construction consultant, we will be there to guide you through the process to help you know who to contact and when, what you will need, and how you can expect to get it.

Our team consists of in-house carpenters and project managers, in addition to subcontractors. All trades that are hired as subcontractors are vetted to meet West Builders’ standard. West Builders has spent years building relationships with subcontractors from all trades, to provide reliable and quality work on all projects.

Our personal consultation process is a set fee of €2900 which includes all work involved in bringing your project from design to building contract.

All building projects are tailored and quoted per project.

All projects are unique! Although we cannot give you a general timeframe - note that once you sign on with West Builders you will be provided with a project schedule which will be managed by our in-house project manager so that you’re always aware of the timeline for the project.

All projects with West Builders are finished on schedule.

No. However we can include aspects of landscaping, such as building retaining walls, fences, patios, driveways, drainage, and decorative stone features. 

We do not provide any type of planting.

Yes. West Builders has a commercial combined policy including public, products, and employers liability. Our policy is provided upon request for all clients.

Jack Hawkins - owner of West Builders - has been building houses since 2008. Coming from a long line of carpenters, he first began constructing timber frame houses in Brisbane, Australia. Jack holds a Certificate III in carpentry and a Diploma in Building and Construction, from TAFE Queensland.

Jack moved to Ireland in 2018 and for the last 7 years has been focused on not only building, but construction from start to finish. West Builders now provides a full range service including all sub contractors and project management.

• We'll be your key to understanding the quality of the materials you're choosing, the cost to source them and the time to finish them.  These are decisions that can make or break your budget.

• You will have a dedicated project manager so that you know exactly what’s happening at all times.
   
• We'll keep the process scheduled to avoid unnecessary delays.

• You can contact us anytime to discuss your project or ask any questions at all.

• At the end, we'll provide our detailed proposal of costing and a work & payment schedule including start and finish dates (at which point you will be able to choose whether you want us to build your project or take that information and seek other quotes.)
